The magnetic yoke is highly effective for detecting surface and subsurface cracks, including flakes, lack of fusion in welded joints, tears, and other imperfections in ferromagnetic materials.

The NOVOTEST MPD-DC Magnetic Flaw Detector is the ideal solution when the use of electromagnets is not possible, such as in environments where power supply is difficult or restricted due to safety regulations, for example, when it is prohibited to use Magnetic Particle Flaw Detector NOVOTEST MPD-17P. It excels in situations like working at heights, in field conditions, or inspecting the internal surfaces of tanks and boilers.
- Designed for extreme environments, the NOVOTEST MPD-DC operates reliably at temperatures ranging from -30°C to +50°C and can handle relative humidity up to 95% at 35°C.
